Banned from Equestria is mainly mouse-driven. The important part is not memorizing keys; it is making sure the Ruffle player has focus inside the browser.
The first SWF load can take time. Repeated refreshes usually make the experience worse.
| Action | Recommended input |
|---|---|
| Move between screens | Click arrows or hotspots |
| Interact with characters and objects | Left click |
| Select options | In-game buttons |
| Occasional menus | Mouse, sometimes arrow keys |
| Fullscreen | Player or browser button |
Right-click may open the Ruffle menu. That is normal and usually not needed for play.
Click once inside the game area. The browser needs to give focus to the iframe or Ruffle canvas.
Wait 20 to 60 seconds on first load. If an extension blocks WebAssembly, large scripts, or large downloads, allow this page.
Click inside the game after it loads. Browsers often block audio until the user interacts.
The game was designed for a mouse. Rotate to landscape and use fullscreen, but desktop is still better for a full run.
If the browser keeps failing, download the SWF and open it with Ruffle Desktop. It can be more stable than an iframe on some systems.
